About Oakwood Elementary School

Welcome to Oakwood Elementary School! We are thrilled to have you join our community of 3rd through 5th graders. With class sizes ranging around 25 students, we believe in fostering a love for learning and kindness in every student. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where each child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Oakwood's motto is S.O.A.R. which stands for Safe, On-Target, Accountable and Respectful. Students are rewarded with SOAR tickets by demonstrating kindness, responsibility, and helpfulness toward others throughout the school day.  Each week, winning tickets are drawn, and students receive prizes as a way to recognize and reinforce positive behavior and good character.

We look forward to embarking on this exciting educational journey together!
